ADBIS 2025 - AT A GLANCE
ADBIS is the European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems that provide an international platform for the presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced DBMS technologies and solutions for data engineering and analytics, and their advanced applications. The main objective of ADBIS is to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote interaction and collaboration among the database, information systems, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning communities from European countries and the rest of the world.
ADBIS 2025 will be held on September 23-25, 2025, in Tampere, Finland. Tampere is the central city of the sixth-largest urban area in the Nordic countries. Tampere region comprises 22 municipalities, with more than 512,000 residents in total. It is one of the most rapidly developing regions in the country. Tampere is a city of culture, sports, and education as well as a centre of technology, research, and business. Tampere is also one of Northern Europe’s hotspots in the fields of information and communications technology, biomedical engineering, and biotechnology, as well as automation and mechanical engineering.
This year, ADBIS will be organized as an on-site event and sponsors can have great presence and visibility at the physical locations of the event as well as on the conference website. The conference will have separate but equally prestigious research and demonstration tracks for the papers presented at the conference reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited keynotes and tutorial talks presented by leading scientists. It offers a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange and share results, providing great opportunities for innovation. We expect more than 5 timely workshops to co-locate with ADBIS.
